E-Therm Ultra

E-Therm Ultra is a high-performance insulation panel comprising a 3mm impact-resistant surface layer bonded to 10mm aerogel insulation, all encapsulated within a tough and durable vapour control membrane.

The panels are easy to install and require no specialist tools or handling precautions. They can be cut to suit the required size and shape, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.

E-Therm Ultra is designed to support everyday domestic furniture and is compatible with most floor finishes, including underfloor heating systems. Supplied in a pre-formed panel format, it enables quick and efficient installation.

Can E-Therm Ultra Be Used with Laminate and Floating Floors?

Yes. Laminate and floating floors can be installed directly over E-Therm Ultra panels. For optimum performance and longevity, we recommend using a high-quality underlay, such as Instalay. Where appropriate, adhesively fixed floor coverings may also provide enhanced long-term stability and performance.

Can Ceramic Tiles Be Installed Over E-Therm Ultra?

Yes. When installing ceramic tiles over E-Therm Ultra, a 6mm tile backer board should first be fitted above the panels. This provides a stable and secure substrate for tiling, ensuring a durable and reliable finish.
